reunited

just came from a mixer with colleagues. it was great seeing everyone again. some more than others, but its all good. im excited to see what the year holds for me and the newbies. I'm tight. i wanted to hit up a bar n just chill. I got lost so i decided to just go home, boo. I cant go out tomorrow, ill be with the fam. Maybe I can link up with yari sunday before she heads back to fl. I wildin out for wanting to party before i start working Monday. Labor day events, here i come!

city harvest

Just got back from the food pantry. it was so much fun. For so long I've been saying that i need to get involved, yet i haven't followed through. Today was the day that i walked the walk and i loved it. Serving people in need is a precious thing. The simple things we take for granted is priceless to another. today we gave to the community: carrots, sweet potatoes, yams and white potatoes. to you it may not be such a big deal but to those that stood on the line from early this morning, that's all the food they have to sustain them till next week. -Be grateful for the little you have, remember things could always be worse.
